Slipped

And fell in my school campus's linkway today. I've gotten loads of scrapes before but this actually hurt quite a lot.

Was trying to walk down the linkway ( the floor is paved using stones, mind you ) after finishing my work with my classmates. 5.55pm, I recall. My good ol slipper/heels gave way as I walked down a sloping area, even though I was walking reaaaallll slowly.

I tumbled, stumbled, tilted forward and slid down the slope. My right leg got all the damage, and best of all, MOST OF THE WOUNDS ARE ON MY DAMN KNEE! Cuts on knees are a real bother to heal, since walking tends to open the wounds frequently..

damn...

Bled like hell. I've to force myself to stop walking just to mop up the blood thats flowing down. People were staring at me like I was a complete freak. What, never seen a poly freshie bleed before?!

...

But its not all that bad. As I was sitting on the steps right outside the station, waiting for my boyfriend to pick me up, a random stranger stopped his car in front of me and opened the door. His daughter, who was also inside, cried the moment she saw my wound lol.. but anyway.. he stepped out and offered help. Stuffed a fistful of tissues in my hand. Chatted with me for a bit to distract me from the pain.

It really improved my mood loads. But better stuff are coming. A group of seniors from my campus spotted me and rushed forward to help. Can't be blamed that the crowding around me drew a bigger crowd, but still.. I'm deeply touched :D They gave me plasters, more tissues, offered to help me clean up the wound..

Man am I touched or what. I really appreciate all the attention from the people, mostly because I didn't expect it at all. I've always thought that people in Singapore are kinda cold and unforgiving.

Very lucky my boyfriend called my phone right after I fell. What a coincidence. Or rather, is it telepathy? haha..
If he didn't call, I might have been stucked on the private bus - standing up. Lucky I got a ride from him.

Happy day.
Was fun doing homework with my classmates too..
They actually gave me the drive to complete 42 sketches in one day's time.
Lucky I have them.

Really lucky, this day was.
